The Walking Dead : Season 6 Episode 8 “From Start to Finish” Review

Spread the word

Anybody else still get to chills when they see a huge group of walkers pouring into their community? We thought so.
From the get go it looked like a bad enough situation, and we all knew that somebody was going to have to die. Even if it was just a bunch of random community members, but really Deanna? So this would mark a turn of events in where Rick is the de facto Mayor of the whole community now, basically setting up the whole prison situation yet again. And with the whole prison situation there’s always the moment of stability and then something way more evil than the walkers come along. For the people that read the comic book we’re sure you know what that means for those that didn’t yes we mean possibly way more evil than the Governor.

During this whole scramble from the influx of walkers it seemed Morgan and Carol come to a better understanding at least temporarily. Which put Carol in a better light, considering her position from last week where a number of fans filed her into the nosey old crone category.  Which might’ve forced them to believe she would face unforeseen negative fan Karma. In a way she did as he faced off against Morgan in a very suspenseful showdown after Carol tricked Morgan into thinking that she was injured and then escaping  from him as he watched over her to make sure she was alright. In the eyes of many fans Carol redeemed herself as her usual paranoia proves to be right and “The Wolf” betrayed Morgan and kidnapped Denise.

Yes Denise, one person who was starting to make headway in the show, but was nowhere near close enough to dealing with walkers or even a mob of them with a crazy person like “The Wolf”. So we’re going to have to say we’re not expecting anything positive for her. And puts people in a situation where Morgan and many fans alike are going to have to ask them self this question : Is it alright for one evil person to live and threaten the safety of every one else around? These are the questions that peck at people in real life and make us feel for the characters and plot of this show. Most of us are pretty upset.
We’re sure when Carol wakes up, they all regroup and the walkers are clear this is going to turn into way more
explosive situation than many think.

So we will also ask this question here. How many people actually thought that the mayor turned into a walker and was trying to eat the baby? Hair raiser right? In the final parts of the y of things that somebody has finally gotten through to Michonne. Which many fans couldn’t figure out what was going on with her and still can’t. Only the fact that she’s looking for some sort of peace and finality? And the question remains if she will actually get it even after getting a ray of hope from Deanna in her final moments.

And in the final scene of the episode the group of Rick, Brandy, Sam, Ron, Michonne, Father Gabriel, and Carl use the walker disguise trick from season 1 to get out and among the walkers. This is one of this pivotal scene where things start to look up for the moment and then it all comes crashing down with Sam saying “Mom, mom” in the middle of a group of walkers. It always has to be something right? Well with them in the middle of a horde of walkers some very grim decisions might have to be made here, and one of them involves the evil side of Rick abandoning Sam to his own fate.
Give us your thoughts on this one.
