The Big Mac Killer

Spread the word

“Doomie Baby!” Remember that song…No? If not, I’m referring to the restaurant, Doomie’s.

Located in Toronto, this is the founder of the Vegan Big Mac! I know what you’re thinking, vegan and big macs don’t typically mix. I didn’t think so either. I am far from a vegan but I received an opportunity to try one of the most talked about burgers in Chicago!

Hosted in Grant Park, the Vegan Fest was live and the Doomie’s line to the Vegan Big Mac was extremely long. I literally waited over 2 hours for this $10.00 burger. Was it worth the wait though?

Vegan Big MacHonestly, this burger caught me by surprise, so yes, it was well worth the wait. It tasted like an actual burger but with a weird texture, almost pasty but delicious at the same time. Covered with their special sauce, the burger was sure to please my taste buds.

Although delicious, it would not replace my beef but is a great alternative. At 253 calories, it could be a healthier option, but don’t be fooled, you can still gain some pounds from this monster burger.

If you are in the Toronto area, I highly encourage you to try them out. Let me know if they change your mind about meat.
