It is blazing hot outside! I live in Chicago, and normally I don’t complain about the heat because it’s usually chill here, but this is ridiculous. When water isn’t enough to beat the heat, I turn to a thirst quenching snack to keep me chill where there are no hills…(Chicago is pretty flat)

Nothing will keep you cooler than a sweet, cool, juicy watermelon. There won’t be a bad habit started here because it’s low in calories and big on taste. Adding a few more ingredients will only enhance the taste. This can be a fun treat to do with kids or be selfish like me and eat it all for yourself.

Don’t worry about heating up the oven because this pie requires no baking and can be done literally in 5 minutes. Once you combine the powers of all the delicious flavors, you will be quenching your thirst in no time.

To get started, you are going to need a few ingredients for this awesomeness;

  • Watermelon
  • Strawberries
  • Blueberries
  • Cool whip
  • Apples

Cut a two inch thick slice of watermelon off. Place it on a towel to take off the excess juice. Once that is complete, spread the cool whip evenly on the slice. From there add the rest of your toppings. Cut your watermelon into some healthy slices and you are ready to eat!
