It seems like everyone has a snack that is going to bring them to the next level of fitness. Some of these snacks actually promote weight loss which is weird because you are taking in calories. Most on the other hand promotes weight gain. On rare occasions there is a snack that will help you maintain what you have.

Don’t get me wrong, any snack or fruit can cause you to gain weight. Indulging in anything could one day prove harmful to your health. Learning to maintain a balance, especially with food, is the key ingredient to making your weight loss goal a success. Check out 3 of my favorite snacks to attack fat.

Retailing at 1-2 dollars these simple bars contain a lot of nuts (whoa!), whole grain, and fruit. This is a perfect pick me up for an early morning run or a light snack when you want to curb your diet. Like many bars, its cheaper to buy these in bulk.

Retailing at 3 dollars this is my go-to when the hunger monster comes along. Great light snack for going to the movies. It’s super delicious and not heavy on the gut. It has a crispy-light taste to soothe your taste buds and keep you motivated in your weight loss goals.

Snack

Technically you can have any snack. When looking for my go-to snack, I generally keep the sodium content low and the protein content high. I don’t eat them late because they are intended for energy.
