Is a colonic necessary?

Do you really need a colonic? The practice of colon irrigation is to clear your body of waste that is pretty much just hanging out and intoxicating your colon walls. Doing this process on the regular is supposed to help you live a longer, healthier life. In living a healthy life, I’m referring things like improving your immune system, mitigating the risk of colon cancer or even losing weight. Is this pricey method worth it? If anyone knows “ass”, it’s me and that has yet to be determined but I’ll continue to educate to find out if a colonic necessary.

Put a tube in the dookie shoot!

Your body naturally cleanses the colon so why should you put a tube in the dookie shoot? In my research, I found that your body produces a natural bacteria. This natural remedy located in the colon has been detoxifying our bodies of food waste for years. On top of that, most of us host a liver that also detoxifies. Also, the lining in our intestines is on some next level Wolverine regeneration that mitigates the accumulation of deadly substances. As far as weight loss is concerned, you may feel lighter after you drop the deuce. But science says your body absorbs the majority of the calories you think you’re getting rid of well before it hits the large intestine.

In my findings, we really don’t know if a colonic is the way to go. In actuality, we don’t know if it’s safe. There are no government regulations on any of the cleansing products, which means the level of strength and safety has no guaranteed results. It’s pretty much like popping a molly and not knowing the results or aftermath. (FYI I’ve never popped a molly, but I know it can’t be regulated.) Depending on the state you reside in, some practitioners don’t have to be professionally licensed.

I was inflated with water!

I actually went to a facility to get the treatment for my colonic necessary“research.” From my experience, I had to start by filling out a bunch of paper work, drop my drawers in one of the most comfortable rooms I’ve ever been in. It was so warm and cozy! From there, one of the finest ladies I’ve ever seen walked in and stuck a tube up my butt. I could tell she did this before because she slid it in pretty easy. I thought it was tight because I can crush walnuts with my butt. From their she inflated me with water! The feeling is warm and subtle, if you must know. When I felt uncomfortable, I’d let her know and she would release the water into another valve. That was the best feeling ever. It felt like taking a dump but with someone watching you. She repeated the process about 4 times and I was done.

Come 3 times!

I eat considerably healthy and didn’t have much in my system according to her. She stated in order to really benefit from the process, I would have to come at least 3 times a week. That didn’t happen because its was 75 dollars a visit. I bit pricey for something my body can do for free.

Lubed up tube!

Keeping a healthy colon is beneficial to your health and you can achieve this by watching what you eat. Putting a lubed up tube in your butt-hole is not the solution for most people. Eating a well-balanced diet is key for reducing the risk of colon cancer and also ensuring that you are health conscious.

If you’re having gastrointestinal problems or would like to mitigate the risk of it, increase your soluble along with your insoluble fiber intake if gluten isn’t a problem for you. This could reduce constipation and the chances of colorectal cancer. To be on the safe side, add 20 grams or more to your diet and drink plenty of water in the process. Keep your alcohol low and your red meat intake to a minimum if possible. Drop tobacco because it’s a nasty habit anyway and could cause complications down the line. At the end of the day, consult with your doctor and see if you need a screening. If not, wait until you’re 50 to check for colon cancer.

Question?

Did you get a colonic and how was that experience?

[…] I know I’m a little late but it’s never too late to participate in an event like No Shave November! This happens to be one of my favorite months, not only because of the ThanksGaining Holiday but because I have a legitimate reason not to shave. I strategically avoid shaving this month to help raise awareness and funds for cancer prevention along with educational research. […]
