What is No Shave November?
I know I’m a little late but its never too late to participate in an event like No Shave November! This happens to be one of my favorite months, not only because of the ThanksGaining Holiday but because I have a legitament reason not to shave. I strategically avoid shaving this month to help raise awareness and also funds to support cancer prevention along with educational research.
How to help
This is your time to let it grow! How much facial hair can you 
grow in a months time? I’m not typically a hairy person but if I can avoid grooming for a minute i’ll take it. If you’re normally clean cut like myself, this could potentially spark up a conversation to spread the word and get others to participate by either donating money or growing hair to spread the word.
Although we may take hair for granted, it’s important to embrace your hair. Many cancer patients don’t have this privilege due to illness and treatments. If you decide to grow, a donation of what you would have purchased for your hair for the month can contribute to the research in preserving lives of loved ones. Every little bit counts and if you can’t donate then spreading awareness is just as good.
You can go macho!
Ladies you can contribute too. If you can grow a beard, this is your time. You can also not shave your legs. It is winter time so you want to stay warm anyway…Just kidding, shave those legs and just donate or you can go macho if that’s your thing. Either way, this is a great excuse to put down the blade and save your razors.
There really aren’t any rules to this movement. Don’t shave for 30 days, if your job wants you to be professional, clean it up a bit by grooming the edges. You can still represent.
