Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) welcomes the Uncanny X-Men

Spread the word

Mutants in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) are known as the “Enhanced” because 20th Century Fox owns the rights to that particular word. Because of this, MCU characters like Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) and Quicksilver (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) will never have a father like Magneto.

MCU

Crossovers are inevitable

Fortunately, with the success of crossover characters such as Spider-Man (Tom Holland), we may see more Fox Marvel characters make it over to the MCU. It would seem Disney and Fox are deciding to play nice and that could mean HUGE changes with our favorite caped crusaders.

A vs X

If you’re like me, you’ve dreamt of a day where The Avengers can finally go toe-to-toe with the X-Men. What I could have only imagined or seen in the comic books could actually have a chance of making it to the big screen!

Houston, we have a problem

So many heroes and yet so much time will pass before we even get a glimpse of the possible crossover between the two film studios. Reason being, Disney already has their line-up of movies listed. Fitting a mutant or two in the MCU can jack-up the timeline and Fox’s timeline is already scrambled with all the time travel.

I had a dream…

If it was up to me, I would have Fox keep their Universe separate from Disney. Each studio should own the rights to their characters and get a cut for utilizing them in their cinematic universe. It’s a win for everyone until the competition for who did it better comes into play.

This is awkward

Fans and actors alike are ready and/or excited for the possibilities. I’m personally curious about the meet and greet between the Human Torch and Captain America, both portrayed by Chris Evans

Thoughts?
