The Samsung Galaxy S8 was launched March 2017. It has a 5.8 inch touch screen with a resolution of 1440×2960 pixels. This provides a crisp display that is easy on the eyes.

Housing 64GB of internal storage, the Samsung Galaxy S8 provides plenty of space to store pictures, videos and applications without utilizing a SD card. If additional storage space is needed, a SD card is optional as well. The SD card slot can be expanded up to 256GB via MicroSD.

Camera

The phone provides a 12-megapixel camera in the rear and 8-megapixel in the front. Both lenses display a distinguished look that depicts darker colors beautifully.

Connectivity

As a standard, WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth, NFC, 3G and 4G are provided. This allows users to connect to a standard compass magnetometer, proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, and accelerometer.

Operating System

Out of the box the Samsung Galaxy S8 runs on Android 7.0 (Nougat) and happens to be one of the faster running phones in reference to flagship devices this year.

Bixby

No Samsung Galaxy S8 is complete without its virtual assistant, Bixby. This virtual assistant is designed to help you keep track of your schedules and accomplish tasks. Bixby has the ability to search through your photo galleries and cast your phone to wifi-connected TVs. Before you can make any demands or commands, the Bixby button will be required.
 

Headphone Jack

In terms of practicality and phones, Samsung decided to keep the 3.5 mm headphone jack. Yes, you can actually listen to your music and videos with your favorite headset. Provided with Bluetooth 5, you still have the option to go wireless when needed.
