Why buy Canada Goose jackets a winter essential

I live in Chicago where the temperatures has been below 0 for the past couple of weeks. We’ve been lucky the past few years with relatively warm winters but now and days the weather is in the single digits and ready to mingle.  My poor hybrid vehicle sucks in this weather. The battery took a crap on me and when I walk outside the hair in my nose literally freeze. Not a good look, well, not until Canada Goose jackets came to save the day.

I’ve been rocking Canada Goose for 3 winters and its rise in visibility has been noticed. Everywhere I look, I’m seeing the brand keeping customers warmer than two rats making love in a wool sock.

They’re veterans

Canada Goose is nothing new. This brand was established 60 years ago for the coldest temperatures. My coat will keep you warm below -30 degrees. Hopefully I’ll never have to test that theory but I sometimes wear a t-shirt under my coat in below 0 weather and feel great!

If you don’t have a coat, you’re in luck! A total of 7 stores opened globally and one is located in the heart of Chicago. Walking in the store, it was relatively compact with everyone being nut to butt. Granted it is a new store and a popular brand, I expect crowd to dissipate over time.

If you want quality, you are going to pay for it. Some of these coats range up to but not limited to $1600 dollars! There are no discounts so it will make you question what do these people do for a living to afford a coat such as this. In Canada Goose defense, it is an investment, well, at least for me. Since the purchase of my coat, I have not and will not purchase another winter jacket. I’m actually a satisfied customer for a few reasons aside from its many compartments, it keeps me warm, comfortable, and also modern.

I no longer complain about the weather any longer aside from my legs being a tad bit chilled. If you do hear of someone complaining about the cold in a “Canada Goose” jacket, its more than likely counterfeit. I’ll just call it like I see it especially since its one of the most common knockoffs in the world. 

Of course there are other brands that will keep you warm. I’ve tried plenty and they break down to Chicago’s winter. At the end of the day, I may have spent a lot of money but I also saved a lot by not continually buying other coats that “could” be warmer.
