Written by A.G Lee
Many MMA fans called the Ronda Rouseys loss to Holly Holm at UFC 193 the beginning to the end of her career as some called it the “Head kick heard around the world.” The MMA sensation known as Ronda Rousey has inspired fans around the world with her brash attitude and winning ways in the cage as she has garnered fan adoration in droves even those who still consider her the champion regardless of a lopsided and devastating loss to Holly Holm.
With Ronda herself stating the aftermath of the loss has been quite devastating to her physically and emotionally :
“Three to six months before I can eat an apple, let alone take an impact.” “It’s been tough accepting that I won’t end my career undefeated, and that some of my injuries are still healing, and “I’m really [expletive] sad.”
But even with the cards stacked against her from fans who left the bandwagon and ardent Rousey the former champion seems to be on the comeback trail unfortunately for the many Rousey haters out there. Other than her public outing with a U.S Marine to the Marine Corp Ball, Rousey will now host Saturday Night Live on January 23 adding to her growing film and tv accolades.
