UFC 194! Welcome to the new Featherweight division!

Spread the word

McGregor crushes Aldo!

And with that win Conor McGregor setttles the score that has been keeping MMA fans at the edge of their seats until this point!!!! Wow Just Wow!

Aldo and Conor have been going back and forth for the longest time now, and causing an even bigger stir among the fans dividing them across the internet. But this win for Conor McGregor vindicates those fans who have been staunch supporters of the new featherweight champ! Need some time to go rub it in the face of the people who doubted your picks? Yeah we don’t blame you.

That 1 punch KO solidifies what fans have thought all along as Conor McGregor has shown these skills all through there career which is what made them championship material in the first place. With this win was it amazing enough to warrant the rematch for Jose Aldo? And if not where does the Jose Aldo go from here? A rematch could possibly draw in another bagloads of millions or could the new challenger Frankie Edgar be the even bigger money draw for the UFC? But with a loss like that there can really be no way Jose Aldo gets an immediate rematch and not having the option to move up a division with Barao.

McGregor performed to his fullest potential to destroy Jose Aldo in the 1st round and has shown fans that he has had the true belt all along. Any fight now for McGregor whether he stays at featherweight or even attempts to be a two division champion is money for his opponent and the UFC. This is a big win for Mcgregor fans and the UFC as he has said over and over again that he was going to dethrone Jose Aldo. Along with getting the bonus of winning the spot on the cover of the new UFC game that leaves to question can Mcgregor become the new reigning champ or is he no Aldo even though he just annihilated him within seconds of the 1st round? Even though Mcgregor has made his decision where do fans want to see the new champion go next? Where does this win leave the whole featherweight division?Give us your thoughts on the fight. Did it live up to expectations? Did it end the way you expected? Get ready to be immersed in the aftermath of this for atleast a week. Seriously, who takes down a UFC champion that fast especially one that hasn’t lost in a decade other than someone who is truly special? This guy who states :

“Ireland! We did it baby!”

[…] Dustin Poirier  (12-4 UFC) and Joe Duffy (2-1 UFC) were set to fight at UFC Fight Night 76 as the main event, but the fight was scratched due to Duffy pulling out of the match due to a concussion incurred during a sparring session. But that fight was rescheduled to UFC 195 where Poirier looked to trade shots with Duffy in the first before switching the gameplan to a takedown heavy approach where he dominated Duffy with insane ground and pound in a clear unanimous decision upset over the highly touted Joseph Duffy. This win puts Poirier on a 3 fight win streak in the lightweight division and over the last man who beat featherweight champion Conor McGregor. […]
