Doubt VS Failure

Spread the word

Doubt: to be uncertain about; consider questionable or unlikely; hesitate to believe.

Failure: an act or instance of failing or proving unsuccessful; lack of success.

Of course you know what it means but do you know the difference between the two? To sum things up, one could  potentially lead to success while the other could diminish all hopes of the word.

When a person doubts themselves, they essentially put the “t” in the “can’t”. It’s hard to achieve success in a competition if you walk in the arena doubting your chances of succeeding. Initially, with that mindset, you start your game ready to lose.

Think of doubt as if you are not going to attempt try at all. Many aspects of our lives activate doubt that hinders our success. For example, many people want to further their education but never follow through because of the cost of loans. Even if they know it has the potential to better their lives, they don’t take the chance. They may feel they can’t afford the payments nor want that financial responsibility. In most situations, can they really not afford to go to school to better their lives or maybe fulfill their educational goals? They will never know until it’s too late in most cases.

I can

When someone experiences failure, they actually gain success. Failure comes with an attempt and those attempts could lead to great things. Solving a complex formula, making a free throw in basketball, or even learning to walk are all attempts created by failure.

Failure lets you know if you can or can’t gain success from your attempts. From now on, don’t get discouraged by your failures because that is what can lead to your overall success. Even if you don’t succeed in some of your goals, you don’t have to worry about the, “what if” that could have you live in regret.

Doubt kills more dreams than Failure ever will.
